If I could give this place at 10, I would. I had the teriyaki chicken with fried rice. Chicken was moist and the rice was awesome. My husband had the Wagyu bowl because they were out of the slabs of steak. Otherwise he would’ve had that. I tasted it and we both loved it. Don’t be fooled by these two bowls it will more than fill you up. We would’ve taken pictures of our food, but we were really hungry and forgot all about it. The potstickers were like no other that I’ve eaten. I commend the three women who do the cooking especially the owner Joamia. We had the dessert called Biscoff cookie Sando to die for. I would recommend this place to anybody. Prices reasonable. We traveled from Athens to Tyler. We will be back.

I had wonderful service! The ladies there were very nice and helped me through my order. It was my first time trying Japanese food and it did not disappoint! The wagyu beef bowl was perfectly cooked and seasoned but the garlic sauce they gave me made it the best meal I've had in a hot minute. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area and anyone who just wants good food and atmosphere.

It was a very nice and homey place, you can call and then come pick it up, the food does take a bit to come out if you didn't order online,but the wait IS WORTH IT 1000%!!! It was very good and warm and fresh, they were very nice too! They talked with us and it was very nice to talk to them about things other than the food!! I would 10000% suggest going for a first date,lunch, anything!! The sandos were nice and crispy,and creamy and just so delicious!!

this place blew me out of the water! first of all, the lady who runs it, is kind as can be! in fact everyone who was in the kitchen was kind ! the gyoza i ordered were so delicious and juicy, i wanted mine spicy and they were but it was an absolutely tolerable and flavorful spice! the sando i got was a delicious, buttery, sweet perfection, make sure you call ahead if you want it hot and ready when you arrive , however i have no problem waiting for a little bit but it took approx 10 minutes for the sando to be made and it was worth the wait! I’ll be returning and i will be bringing friends!

Joamia’s Kitchen might just be the most confusing place I’ve ever eaten in the best possible way. Because let me tell you, nothing prepares you for pulling into an old gas station and walking out having eaten CERTIFIED A5 JAPANESE WAGYU!!!! That’s like finding a Ferrari engine in a lawn mower. Here’s what we ordered: 4 oz Certified A5 Japanese Wagyu with fried rice Yokohama gyoza (potstickers) Tokyo street style yakisoba Wagyu and pork skewers Chicken Bang Bang sandwich The first thing that really shocked me was the prices. $5 for an incredible chicken sandwich!!! $6 for a giant order of yakisoba with some massive shrimp!!! $13 for a mixture of 3 pork skewers and 1 wagyu skewer!!! Last but not least…….$25 for some certified A5 wagyu with fried rice!!! I’ll be upfront in saying that we didn’t have to pay for the potato shrimp and the sausage. She offered them for us to try and I’m honestly addicted to both now🤦🏼‍♂️ And that Wagyu……..man😍.
